BQ20ZXX: "Discharge battery and reset password to default"

Postby jesterace » Thu May 24, 2018 8:14 pm

I have replaced the cells in my battery pack for a fujitsu laptop. I am using the USB SMBUS interface and can read the battery OK. The results are below. The problem is that i cannot calibrate/reset the battery because the "RemainingCapacity" is 4mah and it says i need to reset the password because it is sealed. I cannot drain the battery because the laptop won't charge/discharge it. What can i do?
