I installed a fresh copy of windows 7 32bit. Install be2works for lpt and reboot.
Run the program - no message for error. The program loads. First "A" indication is Red.
Something is wrong with the lpt port? Can this be because the motherboard is 64bit architecture?
Tomorow will continue the tries. Suggestions?

Good news :)
I managed to read the battery with the lpt version! The ini file was ok. But there was something with the drivers. I install a I2CLPT test Utility witch put some drivers and after that Be2Works start working and managed to read the battery.
Now the bad thing is that the chip is sealed(BQ20889). Trying with default and custom passwords - filed. :/

Battery Data:
Code: Select all
DesignCapacity: 3256 10mWh
FullChargeCapacity: 1523 10mWh
CycleCount: 658
Date: 2008.10.24 y.m.d
DesignVoltage: 14800 mV
ManufactureName: SMP-ATL2.2
DeviceName: DELL C901H8AO
SerialNumber: 11348
ChargingCurrent: 0 mA
ChargingVoltage: 0 mV
DeviceChemistry: LION

RemainingCapacity: 194 10mWh
VCELL4: 4087 mV
VCELL3: 4051 mV
VCELL2: 4051 mV
VCELL1: 4057 mV

Read chip:
Code: Select all

Chip is sealed.
Trying default password...
Failed.
Trying custom passwords...

BQ20889 is not supported.
Why do you try to read it?

There are 2 chips on the battery board. BQ20889 and BQ29330. One of the cells was dead- Voltmeter show 0V. I change it. When I put the battery in the laptop, it indicate that the battery is for change. I measure it and there is no +. I guess it have been cutter from the controler, because i remove one of the cells, then put a good one.
So now I guess i need to read the chip so I can remove the flag that is stopping the + lead.
Am I right? Admin, what do you suggest me to do?

So BQ20889 is not supported. So there is no way to fix this battery?
Is that right?
Later I have bad old Thinkpad battery, and will try with it.

Thank you for the help.
