Flash Problem BQ2060

Postby Marius » Sat Jul 06, 2019 2:24 pm

Dear Sir,
How do I open a saved file to program a identical battery?
I have 15 batteries all exactly the same .I have repacked them all the same new cells and balance charged them with ISDT D2 Balance Charger.I have reset one of them and have saved the file from BQ2060 it saved as *.BIN.DFI.When I click on the file to open the program says "WRONG FILE SIZE 129 BYTES CHIP SIZE 128 BYTES".
My chip in battery is BQ2060A not exactly BQ2060 "A" is extra?? Does it matter?
I just want to open the saved file and WRITE to all the batteries without reset but I cannot open the file. Please explain steps to do this way .Thank you.

You must reset original dum.
You can't use dump from another battery.

I have repacked and reset the original battery and saved the file BQ2060A /24C01. I now connect a exact same battery same repack same chip to scl and sda,gnd .I want to open the saved file and write to the new exact same battery chip BQ2060A/24C01 because the saved file already has the reset information?
like a chip programmer?
I have saved all my battery files, why must I save them and how do I use the file again?I cannot open any file why does it say"wrong file size 129 byte chip size 128" after I select BQ2060A or must I select 24c01?

I also try something else.I read the original BQ2060A from one battery AFTER reset THEN I disconnect scl and sda ,I put the nw other exact battery in place and connect to scl and sda WITHOUT any reset just READ then WRITE to new battery .Now I have two duplicate batteries.I do this because I cannot open a saved chip file ,when I select the file to open nothing appears in the chip window?
Sorry for all questions-Thankyou.
